Élise Gervais
Physiotherapist
Élise graduated from Laurentian University with a bachelor of science in biology majoring in biomedical sciences. She is also a University of Ottawa graduate, having completed her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy. She has taken courses in Mulligan (mobilisations with movement), manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, sports rehabilitation, soft tissue release and continues to take new ones yearly. She has also worked for the soccer association in hull providing treatments and doing some taping to needed players. Élise is a real believer in hands on treatments to really work the tissue and get to the bottom of the issues.
Élise has 20+ years of athletic experience through sports and exercise. She has played basketball, softball, soccer, floor hockey, volleyball and also has participated in track and field, cross-country running, swimming and rowing. For the last few years she has been doing CrossFit at the gym and continues to play recreational sports. She has also taught swimming lessons of different levels and aquafitness classes for the last nine years. As an exercise enthusiast herself, she understands the importance of fitness and pain free well being.
